Now Hiring - Procurement Manager

Woodway UK are currently recruiting for the position of Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing function and oversee the wider Procurement dept.


This role is to support all sourcing opportunities with the primary focus being supplier management, managing the buy better programme to drive efficiency and benefit in how we buy. You will work in conjunction with both the Sales and the Technical dept. to support new business using effective sourcing techniques, drive innovation into the category and support the development of the wider team.


The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:


  • Education to A level standard as a minimum – studying for CIPS desirable (or wanting to)
  • Previous experience of Purchasing and Supply Chain and use of Inventory control systems and practices
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Tools - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience of the Packaging Industry (ideal but not essential)
  • Proactive positive approach to problem solving and a flexible working attitude with a drive to succeed
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills, a natural leader and the ability to be customer facing
