Woodway was founded in 1978 in Northampton by Norman and Liz Inwood

1981

Established as Woodway Packaging

2000’S

Their sons, Martin & Jason Inwood took over the running of the business

2009

Woodway recognised the increase in ‘just in time’ demands from customers and in 2009 invested in a carton
manufacturing facility to be able to supply small runs quickly

2010

We invested in their first Kasemake CAD machine to enable the Technical Services team to produce samples in a quicker turn-a-round time.

2015

Woodway were recognised by the London Stock Exchange group as one of the ‘1000 Companies That Inspire Britain’

2016

On 30 December 2016 Woodway UK was acquired by Bunzl Group plc

Now

Woodway currently employs over 75 people and has an annual turnover in excess of £40 million
